Danielle & Vincent
Vincent Granice Jr. and Danielle McKay met while in college at SUNY Cortland. In December 2016, Vincent proposed to Danielle with the beautiful Brooklyn Bridge and Manhattan skyline in the background. Shortly after the proposal, Vincent and Danielle fell in love with the island and culture of Bermuda during a weekend getaway and knew right away this was where they wanted to get married.
What We Love
Florenta and Nadja at Cambridge Beaches Resort helped every step of the way during the planning process and every second of the wedding day. The resort was breathtaking with the most picturesque views that truly captured the Bermuda feel.
The couple opted for a small wedding party, with Vincent’s father, Vincent Sr., acting as best man, and Danielle’s sister Cristina filling the role of matron of honor. Brothers-in-law Matthew McKay, Nolan Katz, and Matthew Caulfield rounded out the groomsmen, while the bridesmaids were sisters-in-law Alyssa Caulfield and Christie McKay.
Everything from chairs and linens to flowers and lights were provided by Exclusive Events. When the couple arrived at the reception room, everything was set up exactly as they’d requested.
Being from New York, the couple’s music selection was essential, and DJ Allstar listened to their every request. He emceed the wedding, following their itinerary perfectly, and everyone had a great time dancing.
In Their Own Words:
“Because we and the rest of our 90 guests took a cruise to Bermuda for the wedding, we only had two days to spend on the island, but we sure made it worth it,” says Danielle. “We all were able to venture out to go shopping, relax on the beautiful Horseshoe Bay beach, and truly immerse ourselves in the Bermuda culture. No other country in the world is occupied by such kind people. Overall, planning a destination wedding was a lot of work. But with the help of our friends and family and Florenta, we were able to make our dream wedding come true. It is a memory that we will have for the rest of our lives and we cannot wait to come back in years to come to celebrate an anniversary or even renew our vows. Thank you to everyone who made this day happen.”
